broken the internet!

I did something silly today. I started fiddling with my website and now it's fragged, no idea how to fix it. I'm trying to sort it out but I'll be honest with you... I think computers work on magic!

If i can get things sorted I will go back to posting on the wordpress blog but until then I'm back on good old blogger.

Landed on the Homeworld

Good news everyone! my typing ability has scored me a new gig, I'm now a writer for The Home World which is a pretty big score for me seen as I have never really written anything other than fiction or papers for school/college/university

Just thought I would share my excitement and sheer terror with you all. There is a link at the top of the post to the website and one here that is directly to my post. Well it's finally done, Just finished Gaslamp issue #2

I always planned this to be a short story (two parts) I wanted to kick off the series quickly and I think it's not only bolted out of the gates but exploded!

hope you all dig it, I wish I had more time to do this but unfortunately my need to play bills is greater than doing something I love so here's hoping you see issue #3 before the end of the world in 2010!

Immortal Weapons & Wounds

I had a bit on an Iron Fist itch today so I thought that I would put pen to paper (well finger to key) and see what came out.

It's a subdued, subtle Iron Fist story which I didn't expect to write I thought my need for some Danny Rand would lead to a kung fu epic so coming up with a character piece was a nice and rewarding change.

sure I will do a kick ass Iron fist tale at some point though

Gaslamp: Issue #1

Just finished working on issue #1 of my new project one of my new projects. It's an adventure book featuring the Gaslamp brothers Erique and Gerome who run the Gaslamp creature & Apparition eradication service, essentially they are monster hunters who travel the globe fighting not only the things that go bump in the night but also the ones who go bump in the light as well.

My aim is to make it a fun, exciting adventure though a new old world, the comic is set during the industrial revolution but viewed though the goggles of steam punk. There will be more info later but for now I will leave you with issue one.

Working those cogs!

Wow... been a while since I posted here. hasn't been a One Page Comic for a while, naughty me! I have been working however. I've had a couple of new ideas this past week and by new ideas I mean new projects not just ideas for Honor Bound.

Feels pretty good, having ideas flowing again. I've never been what you would call prolific when it comes to being the ideas man, I'me usually the guy who sits worrying about one concept he had a year ago while everyone around him has been churning something new out each month/week/day...

Don't want to go into too much detail at the minute as to what I've got cooking because there isn't really anything to show at the minute but one is a quasi-autobiographical piece and the other is an adventure with monsters!

Oh before I forget there is a treatment up from ALMTalkies for the Girl in the Red Dress music video that I contributed too. you can hit it up here more details as soon as there is some!

Re-work

I spent last night re-formatting issue one of the comic, adding panels and cutting where needed. Issue one turned out to be a bit of a beast! seems I got a little carried away with it.

Spent at least four hours today re-formatting issues two and three and It would seem I hadn't done enough for those so have had to add and re-do some parts.

here is the result of my evening. I'm pretty amazed by this because I was in an awful mood and listening to music I shouldn't listen to when I'm in a funk so that fact that I got this done is amazing really!
