Re-work

I spent last night re-formatting issue one of the comic, adding panels and cutting where needed. Issue one turned out to be a bit of a beast! seems I got a little carried away with it.

Spent at least four hours today re-formatting issues two and three and It would seem I hadn't done enough for those so have had to add and re-do some parts.

here is the result of my evening. I'm pretty amazed by this because I was in an awful mood and listening to music I shouldn't listen to when I'm in a funk so that fact that I got this done is amazing really!

Man-thing v1.1

I wasn't really happy with my previous Man-thing page so I have attempted to re-work it. I'm still not sure if I'm happy with this one, I'll wait a few days and let it sit before I read it again but here it is for you to try out.

One page of Man-thing

So this weeks one pager was a bit of a curve ball. Here is what I came up with for possibly my favourite member of the current Thunderbolts team Man-thing

The best thing about this is that I am now one step closer to my giant sized Man-thing!

This is just a first draft, I plan on coming back and tweeking it if not out right re-writing it.

Enjoy!

The Hood

Week two of my ongoing writing exercise. This weeks one page comic features the Marvel comics villain The Hood! If you don't know who he is you can read up on him here there is also a speaking part for long time Spidey villain The Shocker too! Just some of the crazy fun I have sat behind my computer!

6! its the hellish number!

i finished issue 6 of the comic today... took some doing, I re-wrote it (before I had finished it which is something I never do!) a couple of times because I didn't like where it was going.

It is now completed however and about damn time cause I haven't worked on it for a few days... fell pretty bad about that. Gonna let it sit for a while then move on to 7.

Want to have two full stories before I start looking for artists

One page is all it takes

Time for a change, not much of  change but there will be in the future.

Basically, I am trying something new. Its a weekly writing project that I am undertaking, I doubt anything will come of it other than it will give me something to write (cause practice makes perfect) and will give me a break from the comic or whatever ongoing project I'm working on. I have taken the idea from the guys over at Thoughtballoons (who were nice enough to let me post stuff there but I'd feel guilty if I used their blog for my own means so I'll do most of my work here)

Each week they choose a new character and have seven days to write a one paged comic, it can only be one page (that is completed comic not script, just look at anything Alan Moore has ever done and you'll know what I mean) I won't be picking the characters myself, I'm asking friends to throw up suggestions each week, and this is the first.

One page, two Batgirls, three stars (ok that might be over selling it)
